| #1brycepaOct 05, 2008 12:10:00 | My favorite class in 3.5, (despite the fact I only played it once...), was the Factotum because I always seem to be at the top of my game playing the middle man who can do a little of everything. I don't know, (plus doubt), they will bring the class back in 4ed, so how hard do you think it would be to homebrew? What would you guys do?![]() |

| #3theninjadOct 05, 2008 15:21:59 | Since you can only have one multiclass feat, I doubt that would work. I think, though, that with the structure of roles in 4E, you would be best off recreating such a class through feats. I would probably start out as a rogue, too. |

| #5karldark_dupOct 05, 2008 17:32:17 | I did an interview a bunch of guy and gals from wizards back in march at "the D&D experience" in washington DC and i asked about the factotum as it is I was told that they weren't currently working on it. Take that as you will. |
| #6KruskOct 05, 2008 18:58:59 | Have you considered asking the DM to let you give up class features in exchange for the following. 1- You can pick powers from any class list. 2- You can pick X class skills from and skill. 3- You can use any impliment. Also i guess no class bonus to defense? as for armor and weapons? maybe cloth and leather, wizard HP and healing surges, and simple weapons. |
| #7greylordOct 06, 2008 0:52:50 | Perhaps you could play a Wizard which multiclasses into a Rogue, or Rogue which Multi's into a Wizard or Warlock, make sure you are also a Half-Elf, and then get Jack of All Trades to fill it out, at least for a low level character? |
