| #1terabyteJul 23, 2008 23:40:48 | I'm pretty new to dnd. I had only played a few times myself when i was asked to DM for some of my friends because no one else knew how to play. So over the last couple of weeks i have run a few sessions and things seem to be going pretty well. i have read a little bit about the feywild and i am interested in taking my players there eventually, so basically im trying to get as much information as i can on it, scenery, monsters etc. so i can try my hand at making my own adventure ![]() |

Other than that, I always pictured it at the fairy world...like when Oberron and Tatania ruled over the fairies in the fairyland or something like that. Although, currently for 4e, I'm still having a hard time grasping both the feywild and Shadowfell. Ah well. Fox |

Other than that, there are tons of reference material you could probably find online or at your local library about the fey/sidhe/ Celtic lore. I always kind of felt that the feywild was kind of like the sequence in LOTR when the group goes to Lothlorian. Read Thomas the Rhymer by Ellen Kushner. Google fairy art and look at the pictures. that always helps for inspiration too. |

I would say those movies take the underdark, feywild, and the shadowfell and just cram them all together. Which is, I feel, awesome. |

Something like that might be the kind of thing you could find in the Feywild. That would be Felucia. ![]() |
