The problem with the new at-will, Dual Strike, is that it allows the fighter to mark two targets with an at-will, which makes dual-wielding better for defending than sword-n-board, which is supposed to be king of defending! EDIT: I was incorrect, dual strike only targets one creature. So, I propose a house ruled at-will for those sword-and-boarders who want to remain kings of defending. Threatening Shield - Fighter Attack 1 While attacking one opponent with your blade you threaten a nearby foe violently with your shield. At-Will <> Martial, Weapon Standard Action - Melee weapon Requirement: must be using a shield. Target: One creature Attack: Strength vs. AC Hit: 1[W] + Strength modifier damage Effect: One adjacent creature other than the target is marked. Second Edit: This power is likely overpowered when you consider fantastic flourish (PHB 88), a level 12 paragon utility power (it allows you to mark an additional target as a minor action when you successfully make an attack with a light/heavy blade). |

While Twin Strike allows the attacker to make attacks against different enemies, Dual Strike does not. Although I do like your power, since dual-marking isn't an issue, it would make this power a bit on the strong side. |
