| #1milarkyJul 27, 2008 18:48:14 | Hi all I’m milarky im a DM ofthe forgotten realms Id o love the sembia cormyr and elven dale land war thing in that area. I mainly use cormyr as to me it seems England-ish, knights nobles and factions and such, and since the novels sembia is merchants is also a cool concept to me, I love the gray areas do you work for good or bad noble and the consequences 1) I’d like to know what happen in the dragon rage in 6 bullet points or less i will be seeking out the books don’t know how i missed them must have been a heavy night at the half-moon inn or bad sales team and blurbs I’d to like the know heroes, the villains and the places and devastation created. 2) Darlune (not next to book but I often give players new names more easily pronounced by me any way)or some such names city is names as almost Cormyrian in the “shadow bred“ book, what or how does this come about? I’m intrigued, Sembia has no/little army how does it conquer by trade? when does one city become another’s in the realms? I’m wondering does this/has this happen/ed in real life? I can almost apply it to the Planes when thought decided whos realms you were in? under dark cites i can see easily swap control mainly via trade and military control but a surface city attached to a major civilization im not so sure how to proceeded? Its seems like apply thunder spire keep logic to a surface realm seems wrong to me, Since darluun is across hard to cross mountains how would cormyr think to keep this place with military might consdierign the low tech time line –magic communication aside and who would they need politicaly to live there to be considered cormyrian? Ah well these are my current musings.. I do have an safe easy life with nothing les to consider at the moments |
