You wouldn't have an easier time hitting someone with a boulder than a javelin unless the boulder were enormous; the boulder's bigger, but the javelin's more aerodynamic and accurate. Unless you're talking about rolling the boulder into someone, at which point you'll need to push it down a hill to get it up to enough speed to deal real damage. It sounds like you're going for a gimmick here, and a rather silly one at that. If you want to throw boulders around, I recommend Giantkind Gloves (Dragon 369; throw heavy objects as an at-will power for good damage) - they start at low level, and if all you want is the aesthetic of your character throwing heavy rocks, you're all set. If you want a ranged weapon that will give you "an easier time hitting somebody", I really have no useful advice. |
