Since Critical Hits are cover by magic weapon add 1d6 per +1 damage.
That would be natural to add something for critical miss.

Officially critical miss or fumble doesnt exist in 4e  I would like suggest this following table.

ALL first attack roll in each round  Ignore the rule "1" automatics Miss.

If you get a "1" from D20 for attacking. you need to roll 1d100 and get those following result

Automatic miss rules Still apply on extra attack roll in each round in exemple : 2nd attack roll of twinstrike . Or 2nd 3th ... attack roll for any kind of burst or AoE damage

Chart With possibility of Damage.

I tested yesterday night Feb 27, My 2 players controlling 3 char and myself as DM. In a 2hrs  battle and 24 monsters downed later ( in 3 waves ). We got 13 PC fumble  and  12 NPC fumble.

Comment from my players was

Seb (8 fumbles): "La fameuse table des fumbles  est trop hot, ca rend plus le fun a avoir des "1"

Francis (5 fumbles): " Très bonne idée j'avoue, je vais l'implanté dans mes prochaine game"

Translation in english ~
Seb  : That wonderous fumble chart is so hot, that's make "1" more fun to get.

Francis : " I got to admit is a great idea , I will input this chart on my own futur game"

and my poor sweety  monsters :/ , guess what, they all dead now and can't comment in forum... hehe

Well  Thanks again for help on makeing this chart.  Don't forget to let me some comment if you have tested it yourself in your game. Let me some comment from your  player as well.
