Both these must be different classes and cannot be variants of the same class. You may not select multiclass feats when using this option. Instead you count as a member of your secondary class as if you selected a multiclass feat for that class. You get the full benefits of the primary class you select. For the secondary class you do not gain nearly as much. You gain any automatic skills of that class i.e. the ones that all characters of that class have instead of the ones that can be selected from the class list, but not other class features or benefits, other than the ability to use an implement.. You also gain ½ the standard number powers of each type (i.e. at-will, encounter and daily) of a character of that class and level with a minimum of 1, with each calculated separately. You may retrain these powers, but do so separate from the retraining of the primary class, so you may retrain two powers per level, one from both your primary and secondary class. As per above, if the secondary class uses an implement you can use one as well. At the paragon level you may select only one paragon path, but may select it as if you are a member of your primary and/or secondary class. At epic levels you may select only 1 epic destiny. [edit=1] Clarified that power allotment of the secondary class. |
