I loved the Goliath race from 3.x, so ive convert it to 4th ed in what i percieve the fairest way i possibly can.
Goliath
+2 str, +2 con
medium sized
movement: 6 squares
vision: low light vision

skill bonus: athletics +2, endurance +2

abilities:
oversized: as minotaur

racial encounter power:

Giant blood: Goliaths gain a +2 to all strength based checks (damage, attack, grapple, etc. etc. etc.)

increase this bonus to +3 at 11th level, +4 at 16th

racial feats:

Titan Blood: When a Goliath uses Giant Blood, this feat allows the goliath to add his strength to his fort saves when grappling or where the DM deems permissible

as far as Death Knights and Liches go:
I believe both the Death knight and Lich could make excellent paragon paths. Although the templates are geared for NPCs, i think with a little tinkering they could make excellent options for evil or "unaligned" PCs wanting to walk a different path than what the game is aimed at. This is my first edition of the Death Knight and Lich Paragon Tiers. I havent named anything or given anything any fluff, im just looking at pure mechanics.

Death Knight: fighter, paladin, ranger, cleric, warlord
------------
11th level abilities
+1 AC
+2 fort
+1 will
+1 to saving throws
resist necrotic 10
radiant vulnerability 10
---------
16th level abilities

+2 fort
+1 will
radiant vulnerability 15

powers

lvl 20: level +2 vs. reflex; 6d8+con damage; extra fire damage= 2d6
lvl 21+: drop foe to 0 with unholy flames recharges 1 use

utility:
Marshall undead- lvl 16
Aura of 5 undead gain +2 bonus
lvl 20= aura of 10

Soul wpn: as Death knight template.

Lich: warlock, wizard
------------
11th level
+1 AC
+2 fort
+1 will
disease immunity
resist 5 +1/2 level necrotic damage
regen 5
radiant vulnerability 10
saving throws +1
------------
lvl 16
regen 10
poision immunity
saving throws +1
radiant vulnerability 15

powers:
daily:
necromantic aura:
for one encounter, a lich conjures a necromantic aura that deals five damage to any within its range; aura 5

Utility:
Spell master power-lvl 16
regain one use of expended encounter power
-regain 1 spellmaster when a foe is slain by necromantic aura

im not sure what to do with it:
necrotic master: change any attack power into necrotic damage, even if it normally couldnt be necrotic

The Goliath Race needs more flesh...it seems stripped now. Maybe try to convert the Goliath Feats. And add the Racial Feature which allows them to use Large weapons.

The Death Knight and Lich seem a bit strange. Paragon Path Feature don't add stats and they seem to be missing action point features.
The Death Knight misses a Daily Power. The Lich misses an Encounter Power.

ill have to pull out my races of stone to transfer over some feats but i can do that with relative ease. as far as fluff and depth goes for goliath, i dont use the same concept as wizards presented for their goliath, i turned epic level goliaths my group and I played in 3rd into their pantheon and changed their worldview into something a little more grim, which is what ill be posting here eventually.

as far as Death knight and Lich go:
im more than open to suggestions for additional powers.

For the Lich something like:

Deathknell - Lich Attack 11
Encounter * Arcane, Implement, Necrotic
Standard Action - Area: Burst 1 within 10 squares
Target: Each enemy in area.
Attack: Intelligence vs. Fortitude

Hit: 2d8+Inteliggence modifier Necrotic damage. You regain hit points equal to one quarter the amount of damage dealt.

Special: Undead in the area gain temporairy hit points equal to your Charisma modifier.

The paragon paths do add stats but only when you spend an action point. Thus you could change the Death Knights score bonus's to being when you spend an action point, with an increase in what you get at 16th level. As far as a daily for the death knight how about something that would let you take advantage of your Marshal Undead utility? Conjuring some sort of lower level undead to fight with you for the rest of the encounter or until they are destroyed. You could make it so that it's only a few, like 3 or something. (I'm not that good with making stuff like this. I'd been trying with the Death Knight and Lich but this is much better then what I was coming up with on my own.)
