| #1inthemist123Jan 07, 2010 11:15:00 | So im making a campaign where the 4 pc's are evil characters. so far only one person knows what they are actually going to be, a kobold rogue. so i have some regions, cities, and organizations laid out, and I have some cool ideas. the continents name is primofell (i'm planning on having the name do with a historic event where a great primordial was defeated by a demon or something, all occuring on this continent, perhaps is created one of the natural wonders of the land?). I want to make a calendar as well, so i can plot events and days of worshp and things like that, I have 9 months I think it is with some cool names that kind of fit together, should i make the year 365ish days? the main city is about 20 sq. km (4x5 km), and the pop. is about 40,000 with a realistic mix of about 15 civilized races that can be used to make a character. Are the numbers accurate regarding the area/population relatonship? anyone have any suggestions? The main city is also ruled by a level 16 dragonborn paladin of good alignment. worships bahamut. he has 3 deva advisors, all being th wizard class, and each is of the 3 different builds presented in the character builder (i havent got the newest version). there is also a level 21 elven druid who it is assumed has authority of the wild, obviously. theres about 9600 civilized inhabitants of the forests (of te good civilized inhabitants). The forests span all across the continent. I havent decided how large the continent is yet, any ideas? There is also a smaller establishment that is roughly 2 or 3 sq. km. the top of authority there is a level 11 human cleric, she was raised by a very poor family, and she is still working her way up in the world, and is now a leader of a small establishment. As i said earlier, the pc's are evil. the majority of civilization here is good, i've yet to make evil regions and "towns". I figured even though the main city's god is bahamut, that doesnt mean every inhabitant is a worshipper of it, so the pc's start in the main city, without a deity. i figured they could find a new deity early in the campaign somehow, i thought that would be interesting. my end goal for the campaign is to have them fight either a great demon such as orcus, lolth or even demogorgon, or maybe tiamat or bahamut. or maybe even one of the gods, but I could not find any stats for the gods yet from 4e, oh and i dont have stats for lolth yet either until MM3 comes out. so anyways thats the general idea of what I have so far, any one have any suggestions? any cool events or things I could add? anything is appreciated ![]() |

If the PC's are evil, then perhaps a main plot hook could be bringing back a God or Demon who was banshed from the area, hence allowing the Good to become so dominant. Plot hooks could be finding the key to unlock the god's prison, discovering artefacts that belonged to the evil god and trying to build a following. Other adventures might involve rescuing other evil characters. For example an unpopular WitchFinder has imprisoned several Evil witches and innocents. The players have to set out to rescue them. By doing so the players gain friends. Other "Good" people might seek to use the characters for missions which require a more "flexible moral attitude" as well. Evil characters also tend to lack a bit more disciplne, so it is quite possible the characters will be suverted or have to assassinate other Evil Lords to put forward their agenda. |
