Guided Strike Sorcerer Attack 1
Trusting in the unknown you channel the hand of fate to guide your weapon.
At-Will * Arcane, Weapon
Standard Action Melee Weapon
Target: One creature
Attack: Charisma vs. Reflex
Hit: 1[W] + Charisma modifier damage.
Increase damage to 2[W] + Charisma modifier at 21st level.

[Edit] Daggers and Staffs are weapons so... yeah.

Is this balanced; too plain, too weak, problematic? I have a feeling it could use something, maybe a wild magic bonus?

It's for a concept I have of a Sorcerer who does not know he's a Sorcerer, he trys to be the party Rogue (thus the need for a melee At-Will) but then when things get hairy he starts hulking out (and by hulking out I mean exploding)

I'd perhaps limit it to light blades and staffs before giving it anything extra, otherwise its quite like another rogue at-will without the weapon restriction.

As for the extra kick, im not sure.

There's a feat in the Dragon 372 Shadar-kai article which lets sorcerers use their Dragonfrost at-will as a melee basic attack. I'd adapt that. This power seems reasonable, but why sacrifice the normal sorcerer flavor?

Weapon vs Ref

That's far enough above a basic attack to qualify for an at-will.

I found the feat your talking about, Reaper's Touch, you don't have to be a Shadar-kai to take it so I think this is exactly what I'm looking for. Thank you very much, MasterAaron.

Actually any race can take it (not sure why it's in that article ;) )

I'd probably limit it to weapons the sorcerer is naturally proficient with, otherwise this becomes way too tempting for Paladins who want to Paragon Multiclass. I'd rather not see a paldin have an at-will targeting ref with a d12 or 2d6 weapon.
