I was bound to make my appearance here sooner or later, given my penchant for kit-bashing my favored RPGs. Here's my initial attempt at a Divine Striker; the Harrier. The name is gleefully ripped off from the PrC in 3E, but it might not be the best fit for what I'm trying to do.

It's still in it's very early stages, and this is just a sketch of Heroic tier so far. I'm definitely open to suggestions, and if you folks see anything that jumps out at you definitely feel free to bring it up. I consider myself to be pretty good at the homebrew, but I also realize that there's no way to get something that actually works for a system this complicated out of one person's brain. Nothing presented here is 100% solidified, just a rough draft to get everything on paper as it were.

Download the Heroic Tier draft PDF here.

For those who are curious, here's who the three "builds" are based on;

Pretty cool. I'd like it if there were more powers, though, since it seems that each build type doesn't have a power selection for each level; is that intentional?

This is good! perhaps you could write more powers for it?

Divine Weapon is genius. Pure genius. Letting the holy symbol add to unarmed attacks... Is there a head slapping smiley?

I love the flavor and powers of the class. I'm going to try out an unarmed harrier now. Don't know how much feedback I'll be able to give as I'm not hideously good at spotting things that are broken.

I have just one question. When making an unarmed Fist of Wrath attack you add your Cha bonus in addition to your STR bonus right? Not in place of?

Freaking double post. Sorry.

However, I do have something else to add. I'm unsure about Furious Assault. It seems to me that an At-will that does damage on a miss is overpowered in a striker. Doing 1-4 damage on a miss (at 1st level) is alright, but being able to do 1d6+(1-4) on miss seems like to much. Am I missing something?

You know, I thought that it seemed off too, but there is nothing stopping a Ranger from paragon multi-classing into Fighter to get Reaping Strike. Or a Strength/Constitution Warlock along the same lines.

It will probably be okay, beacuase each existing Strike has a way of increasing their accuracy to aid in DPR. Rangers get Twin Strike, Rogue's require the accuracy granted by Combat Advantage, and Warlocks get both the ability to target different defenses and At-Will's that have extra chances to inflict damage.

Chain the Guilty (Harrier Encounter 1) seems to be weaker than Corona of Light (Harrier Daily 1).

Visage of Wrath (Harrier Utility 2) could easily be an Encounter. As is, it stacks up poorly with similar skill bosting utilities of the paladin and warlock.

Bring Low (Harrier Daily 9) seemes excpetionally weak. 1d6 + Charisma on a daily?

Flame Wave (Harrier Daily 9) also seems a bit on the weak side, but is probably okay.

Fist of Rage (Harrier Utility 10) shouldn't have the until end of encounter wording. That effect is built into the stance. If you word it that way, the effect remains after the stance is removed as well.

These are just what I can see in a quick pass over. I like the concept and it seems well thought out. Could use some more powers though.

I don't thin you can compare an ability gained at level 11+ to an ability that a character has a level one. I'm not saying Furious Assault is broken. I'm just saying that I'm worried there is potenial to break that ability that I'm not seeing.

Still love the class though. Please post more Bat. Thanks
