Hey everyone,

I have been planning to start my own campaign world for sometime. The only thing standing in my way at this point is building the city it is going to take place in. I have the rough ideas in mind, but when I sit down to make it, I don't know where to start. Hopefully someone can help me with it.

I need the city to be large enough to take a couple days to cross from one side to the other by foot. There should be a large forest in the center, and a river that circles the entire city. On the other side of the river, is a range of mountains that completely circles it. There should be 5 entrances through the mountains, 4 of them roads all on opposite sides of each other, either to form a plus, or an x; 1 for the river. There should also be a castle somewhere in the city, just not in the forest, as it is wild and haunted. Uhm...I think that is it, but if anyone has any helpful tips or anything, please let me know.

I don't have any comments to offer you, but what I lack in comments I hopefully make up for with two links. :D

I've found both of these quite useful in plotting out cityscapes, and I hope they can do the same for you.
