| #1DonpNov 15, 2010 20:05:29 | I'm running a 4E game set in the Forgotten Realms. I'm going to be including some 'Boss' Fights but I'm worried that they'll be too easy, it seems WOTC didn't know how to make challenging Solos when 4E got started. I need to take some cool villains for my campaign and make them tough. My group is very resilient, and can take a lot. The villains, who all have stats in the compendium, are Fzoul Chembryl, Orcus, The Prince of Frost, Astral Dreadnought. I really think by the time the PCs will be Epic (currently 18th level) they will be able to annihilate these guys. Chembryl especially seems weaksauce for his level. Any recommendations on how to make these guys tough for an optimized, up-to-date group? Thanks. |
