| #1bb2dgreeApr 08, 2010 15:51:21 | My players should end up in frontier village working as Gaurdians of said village. I am trying to think of some good side quests for the party to pursue. Ideally, each side quest would be fairly short consisting of up to two or three encounters or skill challenges, as well as provide a small reward for each. I am struggling to think of some good quests for lvl 1-2 players. My second question is how to present these quest hooks. I don't want to beat my players over the head with a "SIDE QUEST HERE" sign. Instead, I would like for these quests to be purely optional and require some initiative out of the party to discover. If they miss them, no biggie, they can just move on to the main quest. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Thanks for the help. |

Before he teleports away he sends a request to the PCs if they could possibly watch over his tower or something. If they decide to protect it have some rival wizard or something attack it. If they decide to decline, nothing happens. |
