#1 Demetri_Knighthawk Nov 15, 2008 8:02:29	Now that I have your attention, This involves the cast from a previous thread "march to war". As life goes it is often that two or more members of my group cant show up one game, to fill in their blanks, I am having the following cenerio: "Having saved the village from the gnolls, they host a feast and party in your favor. When the sun rises you not only find several villagers missing, but members of your party as well, there are footprints (DC15 nature check) of a large humanoid, perhaps ogres or even oni. The footprints lead to the hillside." I am planning to have them captured by a hillgiant who leads several ogres and oni and the fellow players who are absent are the damsels in distress. My problem is how much is a challenge for 5-7 5th level players when using CR8-13 monsters?
