Help with my continent

Hello,

I am one of 3 DM's who have created a world that is planned to be persistent, hopefully forever.  We each have created a deity, as well as a continent.  When our PC's are in a particular continent, the DM that made it takes over.  We vote on houserules and try to keep continuity.

That being said, my deity is named Ooleg, and is lawful good.  His character is a druid/wizard/arcane hierophant(not actually used of course), so he favors both divine and arcane magic, as well as nature.  We have decided that some of the gods already in existence be included in our world as lesser deities.  Among these are Bahamut and Tiamat.

My problem is that I need some sort of story or larger questline to send the adventurers on.  I would definitely like to include some sort of conflict between the two dragon gods.  Right now I have a shorter quest involving a corrupted being working for Tiamat and strongarming a village to increase the influence of Tiamat.

What I'm looking for are some possible larger conflicts to tie in, as well as some ideas for shorter quests along the way.

The continent is a large island(massive actually) in which only the Southeastern section is civilized.  So there is a lot of room for additional cities, dungeons, etc.  There are all types of terrain and I am going to be introducing a frontier type option when the appropriate time comes.

I have a vassal that I have created to communicate with the players for the deity.  Some of the native races are humans, silverbrow humans, changelings, water orcs, jungle elves, half orcs and half elves, and illumians.

Any help is appreciated and I can give more details as needed.  Thanks in advance.

Since the primary diety here is one focused on magic, I'd have the campaign in this continent focused on magic as well. The PCs could be working for a mage guild, a coven of witches, an order of druids, or something else. Perhaps something that focuses on artifacts or the plot of evil magic users on the continent. Maybe the "corrupted being" you mention is an agent of the evil magic users, or is also seeking the artifact.

Alternatively, the shorter quest could be completely separate from the quest you send them on afterwards except that Tiamet is pissed that the PCs foiled her servant's plans and constantly sends her servants to punish the PCs. Just a couple suggestions.

Here is an artefact from my Mystaran Campaign - I created it to flesh out an Immortal named Orlon - Lord of the Skies.

The Mask of Orlon

POWERS
Specific Wish:  Cause faithful worshipers to become Winged Folk.

PENALTIES
Non worshipers making a wish die instantly (No Save).
Acquiring the Artefact forces the owner to go on a Quest for Orlon.
