Fey Pact Hexblade Paragon Path, Dragon of the Feywild theme

Where do Dragon's go when they die?  To a Lake of Fire?  Only those who sow evil and follow Tiamat, the Queen of Dragons.  To the Seven Heavens of Mt. Celestia?  Only the deout and honorable who admire the Platinum Dragon Bahamut.  Tales tell of a selfish, mercenary dragon of great power; one who lent his power to the Angelic Host and the Primordial Terror as it suited him.  Over the long years of his life, he prepared for its end: weaving magic circles and accumulating allies amongst the fey so that his everlasting soul would linger there forever.  But the feywild plays its tricks on the lowly and the mighty, and the Dragon has only enough power to grant pacts to a few mortals at a time.  A Might White Wyrm in life, his spirit slithers amongst the impenetrable pine forests and formidable mountains of the Feywild.  He grants power to Lords of Malice and Scions of Virtue, but especially to those who call out for ideologically unfettered power.

11 AP: Serpentine Advance before or after the action, shift a number of squares equal to character's dexterity modifier at flying altitude 1.  (Picture the Paper Dragon of Chinese New Year Celebrations.)

the end of your next turn against the enemy that bloodied you.

Is this a new paragon path or something?

Fey-dragon? what does that mean? I mean that could be anything from a Jabberwok to a Faerie Dragon.

Your abilities are all over the prace with no real unifying theme.

Actually a good point, there is no unifying theme because I'm mixing fey stuff and dragon stuff to fit my home game character.  My character's pact is with a deceased dragon whose spirit lingers in the feywild; so it's fey, but aggresive.

I really dislike the fey hexblade paragon path in the Essentials book and it doesn't fit my character at all.  I wanted to share because I thought others might have similar feelings about the fey hex path.  I was more concerned with balance, but taking your comment, I especially welcome substitutions that make for a more consistent theme.

Well frankly why are you playing a fey hexblade then?
I would suggest multiclassing then, multi-class sorc and then you can use paragon multi-classing to qualify for the dragon magic class feature multi-class feat.

Problem is then, he's getting Str to damage rolls with all arcane powers, rather than Dex.  (I assume you mean the Sorcerous Power feat).  Rereading the feat and checking the Compendium for alternatives, it doesn't actually give him the Dragon Magic class feature, and it's more optimal for him to pick Dex, since it already matches his hexblade bonus damage.  It's not really doing a lot to build off the theme he's going for.

My own feedback on the paragon path: flesh it out more.  Right now there isn't even a hint at the fluff behind it, and that would help immensely.  At least for me.  Right now there's just a shorthand, not the easiest thing for an outsider to read and review.

Yeah if we spin the dragon as a specific fey patron this could work.

Not having much experience with the fey magic stuff this may be off, but I recall their specialties being teleport, radiant damage, phantasms, charms, and mischief. Dragons rely on elemental power, physical power, flight, terror, and durability. Try to mix one element of each into each power.

feywild breath - radiant and fire damage that clings to and illuminates a target while it burns
