As a wizard I hate giving up Sleep at lvl 15. I also feel weird when the rogue tells me to just put the guards to sleep and I have to explain that I frogot the spell that I had been using for the last 14 levels. Yes, I know that Sleep was overpowered, but it became part of my wizard's MO. While I do not want these spells to be overpowered, I also do not want to see them as a downgrade from Sleep or too far overshadowed by the other opions at their level. Frostborn Torpidity is designed to be compatable with Enlarge Spell. I would greatly appereciate any input. Without further ado...

Enchanted Slumber * Wizard Attack 15
Daily * Arcane, Implement, Sleep
Standard Action * Area burst 2 within 20 squares
Target: Each creature in burst
Attack: Intelligence vs. Will
Hit: The target is slowed and weakened (save ends). If the target fails its first saving throw against this power, the target becomes unconscious (save ends).
Miss: The target is slowed and weakened (save ends).

Frostborn Torpidity * Wizard Attack 27
Encounter * Arcane, Cold, Implement, Sleep
Standard Action * Area burst 1 within 10 squares
Target: Each creature in burst
Attack: Intelligence vs. Will
Hit: 3d4 + Int mod cold damage, and the target is slowed and weakened (save ends). If the target fails its first saving throw against this power, the target becomes unconscious (save ends).
Miss: Half damage, and the target is slowed and weakened (save ends).

Apart from weakening it's target your spell is exactly like the level 1 Sleep spell. Instead of recreating it, you could just stick with your old spell. You know, you can always downgrade powers and use sleep as your lvl 5 daily power.

Agreed. Nothing says you have to replace Sleep when you gain your level 15 daily (or any other level daily). You could replace your level 5 or level 9 daily instead.
