Chaladins and Avengers. So I'm thinking of giving it to them. For the game I'm going to run for my brother and his friends, Holy Symbols will, when worn, apply their enhancement bonus, critical effect, properties and powers to weapon attacks in exactly the same manner that Ki Focuses do. What do you all think of such a change? Any potentially unforeseen* consequences? Right now it's only a theoretical change unless one of them decides to play a Chaladin, Avenger, or Strength Cleric. *aside from making all "weapon as holy symbol" enchants either awkward or unnecessary, and giving builds that formerly required spending gold on both implements and weapons suddenly have as much potential cash as builds that only require one or the other. |

Since divine melee attacks are already buffed by divine power, makes sense that the holy symbol could be used to lend its enhancement bonus. It could also be a feat, though these days there's already a few too many feat taxes' building up, though im not sure if this is really a feat tax. |
