…I posted this in the wrong forum and failed to notice that fact for a week. Oops. I am re-posting my question, here in the forum that it belongs in. Original text:

As I mentioned in another thread, Armor of Agathys is my favorite spell. It works great thematically for my warlock, who is a follower of Kord (and is heavily reflavored--his primary stat is Con & he prefers higher-damage Infernal spells, but he's technically a Dark Pact warlock, although that's reflavored as a boon from Kord every time he defeats a foe). It also works great tactically and damage-wise--my warlock can get right in an enemy's face, and auto-hurt him.

My dear warlock Aethelas is about to hit level 10, and has a lingering suspicion that, as he continues to face more powerful and more dangerous foes, his trusty Armor of Agathys will stop being quite as beneficial--because the enemies will just have too much health for the damage of the armor to do much good.
I am hesitant to create a homebrew myself, though; because 1) I've never created a homewbrew skill, and 2) I love this character and want it to HURT its enemies, so I would probably be inclined to over-power the ability. Any thoughts?

SHORT VERSION: I am wondering if anyone has made a homebrew higher level of Armor of Agathys (anywhere above level 10); or if people have thoughts on what level and what amount of damage would be reasonable?

I haven't homebrewed a version of it, but I figure increasing the temporary HP to 15 + Int and upping the damage to 2d6 + Con would be approppriate to 15th level.

At 25th, 20 + Int temporary HP and 3d6 + Con wuld be good.
