| #1fey_felineJan 19, 2009 14:02:04 | First published homebrew, the Fey Feline. They represent (in D&D) a third branch of Fey people (Elves, Eladrin, and Fey Felines), as well as (personally) a love for fey and cat people. Without further ado, Fey Feline Graceful fey people, in tune with Nature's ebb and flow. RACIAL TRAITS Height: 5'10''-6'2'' Weight: 90lb-160lb Ability Scores: +2 Charisma +2 Dexterity Size: Medium Speed: 8 squares Languages: Common, Elven Skill Bonuses: +2 Nature +2 Acrobatics Racial Weapon Profeciency: Katar - You gain katar profeciency. Feline Grace - You ignore falling damage for the first thirty feet of the fall, and then any other falling damge taken is halved. Natural Weapon - You can use the Raking Claws attack instead of a basic weapon attack in an encounter. Raking Claws Encounter Standard Action: One creature Effect: You deal 1d6 + Charisma to one foe. If it bloodies the foe, you gain combat advantage on that enemy for a turn. NOTES: Fey Felines have slightly elongated necks (compared to Humans) and their fur patterns can match any wild cat's (Panther, Leopard, and Tiger, but no Lions). They have large paw-feet, and long fingers. Their nails/claws are black, and more solid than a Human's nails. I'm sorry if they are so similar to Narashai Felines, I had the idea for weeks before reading that post. |

And if the Elves don't have a connection to nature what do they have? If you make homes in trees and don't have a connection to nature, something is wrong. And there isn't much to your race, no stats, no abilities, no discription. |

| #4fey_felineJan 20, 2009 20:15:34 | Oi, I have a Fey Feline char. already. works great. |

As written, it's autodamage without requiring a hit role. The damage is fairly pathetic, but I wouldn't necessarily consider it weak. I'm concerned that speed 8 is a bit much for a race, although the derth of other racial abilities might make up for it. I'm also wondering if the race has low-light vision? It makes sense for a feline race (unless they're modeled after cheetahs), but no mention is made of vision. |

| #8duel_mastaJan 28, 2009 22:49:04 | Sounds pretty original but a few things: Have you ever heard of the Khajiit? .http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Races_of_The_Elder_Scrolls#KhajiitThey are from the Elder Scrolls series. They may help with and inspiration and what not. Seems original and try thinking up of a different name for them y'know? Anyways, awesome! |
