My second try at making a weapon. Magic time!

Free (as in no feat necessary) bastard swords for Eladrins? I'm not sure I would allow that as DM. Also, I'd imagine a "thinblade" to be more like a rapier.

Changed the wording a bit. Eladrin need to spend an extra feat for proficiency, but it is otherwise a d10 Longsword for them.

Hi,
since I also tried to convert the thinblade I love to see other approaches to it.
But wasn't the "old" Thinblade not a Thinblade because you could wield it with Weapon Finesse?
I put in a new property: Speed
Speed: This weapon is very light and can only be used with your speed (dexterity) and not with your strength.

Maybe it is a bit to much. But what do you think of it?

On the other hand I do like your approach and I think of changing mine a bit.

i'll change to:

Power (Daily): Minor Action. You may teleport as a move action 3 squares alway from your starting position, An Eladrin that use this weapon, instead, may use Fey Step an additional time this encounter.
