| #1ryano1124Jul 16, 2009 15:23:02 | I'm not actually sure where this question is best served, so i shall post it on a couple of forums to fish for answers or opinions. Homebrew rules. We do it to change things to suit our preferences, whether to limit or expand characters, storylines, etc. Blah blah blah, ya'll know this. Here's the dealio. I want to know what the opinions of you all of homebrew changing of lasting frost and wintertouched to a lightning equivalent? (Static shock and stormtouched? Hmmm...) The only thing i can possibly think that would be a major issue is abusing the Mark of Storm. I'm actually not going to do that. What else would be a major issue? (i'll actually be using the Mark of Scribing, i'm kinda making a Jason Bourne sort of character in Eberron, minus the amnesia thing, member of the Citadel, blah blah not important.) Anyway. Hit me with your thoughts. |

Try it out in a practice session. Just make up a character, and take those 2 feats, then pit him against an equal level monster, and see how abusable it really is. It might turn out to be fine, it might turn out to be horribly broken ;). You'll have to find out one way or another. |
