| #3digglesApr 11, 2010 15:53:22 | You could make the same things with MapTools in probably half the time. |
| #4uhfApr 12, 2010 22:35:53 | I use profantasy Campaign Cartographer 3 and Dungeon Cartographer 3; forum.profantasy.com/comments.php?Discus... |
| #5rongermanyApr 12, 2010 23:41:15 | I use photoshop, doesn't take long once you feel comfortable with the program (around 10-15 minutes per battle map). This one features a fight on top of besieged battlements with lots of push/pull/slide effects on the side of the enemies and environmental hazards in the form of catapult hits by the besiegers:![]() |
| #6rongermanyApr 12, 2010 23:44:34 | ![]() This one is a tomb with a sarcophagus in the center and some difficult terrain (rubble) as well as some pitfalls in the floor (the grey/foggy areas). |
| #7rongermanyApr 12, 2010 23:49:17 | ![]() The last one's a dig site with some lava pits, pillars for cover and a magic orb which has to be deactivated by the characters infight. If you need any specific battle maps, feel free to ask, I can make one and upload it here. Just be very specific about the details you want included. |
| #8sharkiApr 13, 2010 10:05:42 | Can you do a shadowfell-esque wasteland choked with the dead-gray mists? I don't need any specific structures on it except maybe ruined bits of housing, as this is just the base map for my epic-tier jaunt... |
| #9grogthecavemanApr 13, 2010 11:36:22 | This battlemap is pretty rad! I definitely like the textures.I use photoshop, doesn't take long once you feel comfortable with the program (around 10-15 minutes per battle map). | #10rongermanyApr 13, 2010 13:10:08 | Thanks a lot! The textures are all free (there's tons available on the net). Here's the one requested by Sharki. Is that what you wanted? ![]() |
| #11sharkiApr 13, 2010 18:24:32 | Yes! This is awesome! Thanks! |
| #12thecapnApr 13, 2010 23:00:23 | I may have posted these in another thread at some point, but: Bandit/Slaver camp - with a cage for captives/slaves (sorry, I got lazy with the fireplace). Primitive Jungle Village - complete with cannibal boiling pot Random jungle pathway I'd post with thumbnails but this forum doesn't seem to play nice with the photobucket code and I can't be bothered html'ing it up. those are some nice maps RonGermany, where do you source the stone textures from? I've been trying to photoshop up my own but they aren't looking all that nice. |
