Lets use the Dwarf Stoneblood feat for example: Dwarf Stoneblood: Prereqs: Dwarf, fighter, Battlerager Vigor class feature Benefit: Add one-half your Constitution modifier to the temporary hit points granted by your Battlerager Vigor. Now when I look at this feat I can see reflavoring it for use with the Goliath or another Con bonus creature or really any other creature. It doesn't use a racial power from a specific race so I don't see a problem. Now if a racial feat works off of a race's racial power then of course it wouldn't be able to be reflavored. What do you think? |

There's an option under "Edit my Thread Viewing Options" to where you can limit the size of any signature you see. I might have to toy around with just getting rid of the racial prereqs. It definitely would destroy a bit of the specialness of each race, but might make it a bit more enjoyable for my group. Though, there might be one problem. The racial feats are usually a little stronger than the other feats, so if you let people load up on all racial feats... Hmm... |

What do you think? I would be careful doing it...in the case of the goliath I would say it would be fine, it even fits thematicly...but if you had said 'eldarin' instead, or worse the half orc I would say no. The eladrain doesn't fit theamaticly, and in the half orc case (+2 str race) it might be too good... |

Replace Dwarf with "Race with a Con bonus", and all tough as nails races can take the feat. Or "Racial bonus or power when bloodied" to blur the lines between Dragonborn and shifter feats, for example. This should preserve some of the flavor, but gives a lot of love to the monster manual races who currently lack support. |
