hello all, gonna throw this one out there, playtesting in my two groups atm

Ok so i run my game in a pretty full on homebrew world, lots of fun, all phb classes and races etc, but a few homebrew as well

Now some ideas worked well as a complete class, such as the Gun Drake, a martial mixed melee/ranged striker developed from generations of airship boarding combats, but other concepts i had i struggled to realise in both power direction and number

Thus
I used spellscar as a precedent, making a feat that allowed a character with appropriate prerequisites to have access to another set of powers.
One power per level including utilities.
Cannot have more powers from the hybrid class than from original class.
All powers much more reliant upon an implement or object ie. Firearm needed, or a Steam Suit (a kind of armour)

For eg. Tek Dragoon, a ranged striker based on firearms has powers of an equivalant to a ranger, but more firearm and modern shooting based. I did not want to post the entire things (and am not sure how to do the hidden button thingy), but i can field all questions

So what do you think?

Well if you are useing spellscarred as your precident you still would have to multiclass into it and like spellscarred use the multiclass power swap feats to get powers from the second class, which limits you to 3 powers (one daily, one utility, and one encounter) as you can only take each power swap feat once. Well unless you paragon multiclass and that has different rules (even the spellscarred had to have a special paragon path to work for paragon multiclassing)
