#1 the_whatever_slayer May 16, 2010 19:49:30	I have been creating my own world since Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 2nd Ed. Here I am about 14 years later 4e yet I believe I am nearly ready for completion. So here is what I am doing on this thread. I will share the basis of my world get some feedback good or bad, and see where I stand amongst a communitee of like-minded individuals. My goal is to publish...... more to turn all my stacks of paper, scribbled notes, and visions in to a book, then for any kind of financial gain. So give it do me straight no back stabbing----

Okay I will share and adventure background I created for a campaign this will help you to get a feel of my charactors. Some of the more wicked ones...... SOPHIA In the middle of an overgrown swamp evil lurks. An evil so dark and forbidding the pressence can be felt for miles. This swamp is called the Devils' Trap (mistakenly though). Great heroes avoid this place, even greater have entered to never be seen again. Near the center of the Devils' Trap is a small settlement. This is located on a small cleared out island named after the settlers. The Dying Black Isle, home of the Bleak Academy. This training ground spawns much of the evil throughout the land. #4 Fireclave May 17, 2010 1:51:11	Both your thoughts and your posts seem to be very disjointed, and that is going to make it hard for anyone to take you seriously.  If you have an entire campaign setting that you want to share, a forum is not the best medium to produce it.  Since profit is not your goal, I suggest that you instead organize and publish your material some place on the web first.  There are many options.  Building your own website (or having someone build one for you) is an obvious one, and the one I would most highly suggest, but you could also experiment with other options such as Blogger or Google Docs.  Once your material is organized and presentable, restart your discussion here with a link to your material.  It would be a lot of front-end work, but the task should be easier in the long run and get you more, and more constructive, critiques.  Good luck.

To Be Continued Shortly......... It is too Story-like. It needs to be thought of as how it effect play. The Bleak Academy must be a Lawful Evil organization. (Otherwize it would blow itself up.) "This training ground spawns much of the evil throughout the land." ? So many villain thoughtout the land ware a class-ring? Can a good person be a student at the Bleak Academy? Is it just a place for the Heroes/PCs to destory? Does the swamps around the BA have dungeons and stuff that the PCs can adventure in? You know that "Great heroes avoid this place, even greater have entered to never be seen again." Is a way of saying, "Players, look! This is the place to start!"
