Ideas for a campaign setting: Gold Horizon

I have created a campaign setting for my D&D group. I ran into a problem when i first started the group because players wanted their characters to hail from a different campaign setting than others. I had a dragonborn warlock from Dragonlance, a dwarf battlemind from Eberron, a Half-Elf paladin from Forgotten Realms, etc.
This lead me to create a campaign setting i currently call Gold Horizon. It contains continents from a ton of different campaign settings, and allows for THri-Kreen (my favourite race), dragonborn, warforged, kalashtar, etc. To all have homelands in one campaign setting! Options or items only available in a specific campaign setting could now be used, with easy and simple explanations.
The backstory is this:

100 years ago, a great entity came into being in the far realm, known as The Forthcoming. It sired all krakens and mind flayers. It consumed aberrant creatures and far realm natives. Eventually it turned its interest towards the various D&D universes. It's insatiable hunger broke down the walls of reality until the beings of neighbouring universes (campaign settings) came into conflict. Eventually the gods of all campiagn settings allied together. They feared for their worlds' safety.
To save their worlds, they made a great sacrifice. A continent was taken from each of the universes, and the gods trapped The Forthcoming in a planet they had created by ripping off bits of others. The Forthcoming now sleeps below the earth, underneath the crust.
There was great mourning on all campaign settings when they learned of their lost lands and people. In the new planet, called Avalon, wars broke out. Chaos ensued.
There were several great wars, as the inhabitants of Avalon tried to start off their new life by getting rid of their enemies while they were still adjusting to the changes. There was a war between eladrin, elves and drow. A war of dwarves and duergar. A war of dragonborn and tielfings (eventually drakkoths joined in).
It has been 100 years since the world was created. The world itself is new, but the continents are old. It is time for heroes to make their mark and shape the map.
I have the following continents in:
Athas
Xen'Drik
Ansalon
half of the Greyhawk continent

What other campaign settings do you think should have places here? What do you think of this idea?
I can't decide on what continent i should bring in from Forgotten Realms, but i have always been a Kara-Tur fan.

Just an idea, to incorporate other campaign worlds into one campaign setting, you could always do a spelljammer esque campaign style, where the PCs get to use a spacefaring magical airship. And all the worlds of the other campaign settings, Eberron, Forgotten Realms, Dragonlance. Could all be their own worlds within the campaign universe (maybe even the same solar system) and the PCs have to travel to each of these places for one reason or another. That way many different ideas can be incorporated and if you want something to happen that doesn't make sense on any of those other planets, you can always just make a new one, and have them travel to it. I have done this in the past when I had neat ideas for adventures but they spanned different campaign worlds.

Another option instead of different planets in the same universe, the spelljammer airship vehicle could instead travel to different dimensions, and each of the campaign settings could be their own dimension. Possibly throught he plane of shadow that way they have to travel through the realm of darkness anytime they need to go to another setting.
