During that sequence, they chose one of two alternatives. Their choice will determine several RP things later in the campaign, but will also determine a reward the magic involved will grant them. The two rewards are: 1) An increase to a single stat (I am undecided if it will be a +1 or a +2, but I will choset the stat - usually the character's "main" stat) 2) A Daily power which, when used as a minor action, will refresh a single previously used Encounter power. Similar to Soul Burn from page 170 of the PHB, except there is no requirement to burn a healing surge to activate it. I don't want the two rewards to be equal, one should be better than the other (though not astronomically better) as a "reward" for chosing the right path. Which would you chose as the better of the two? I believe the power outshines the stat bonus, but wanted the folks here to comment. |

If it's a +1, I would consider the power but, depending on how I want to build my character, I would still take the stat increase... hard to say with +1 which one is better.... |
