| #1dxlr8rMar 26, 2010 15:25:20 | I've been looking into implementing house rules into the character builder. I've tried to edit character.dnd4e and add the rules. I know XML and programming so I thought it was possible? But I can't seem to get it to work. Anybody has any experience with this? |

I haven't had any success in making houseruled things any more than just blank fillers. I'd be interested to hear if you have any success. |

I want to give my players this for free, so then I would have to gove them an extra free feat to. Or implement it in some other way ![]() |

If you check their forums, there are folks who have put together a downloadable 4e framework that you could use as a base and add your house rules to it. They are also quite helpful and may be able to help you with adding your modifications. |

Just be sure that they're treating it as the normal enhancement level for everything else. I have thought of that. But there are some troubles about it... For one it only works with a certain group og weapons or implements. I want it to apply to all powers, like for example Dragon Breath. On level 25 the user through my rules get +3 to hit, so then you would need +9 weapons. RP Tools has a character builder that is fully customizable and usable for all games, not just d&d. Looks very nice. But it has very few powers and feats. And it has no limits. You can set your ability to what ever, take as many feats your want, take level 30 powers in level 1. So not very noob friendly which I got alot of in my party. But it looks promising for the future I know Java, maybe I should contribute ;) |

If you don't mind certain parts being off (particularly the damage being 1-3 higher than usual), you could up the ability scores, print the power card pages, and then lower them for the rest. |
| #8Neutronium_DragonMar 26, 2010 18:09:26 | Is it possible to create a custom item with "Property: +1 to all attack rolls" that can be equipped in a non-slot slot (wondrous item or the like)? If so you could do that and give it to each of them. |
