In complete lack of inspiration, need help plz!

Mar 06, 2009 7:41:07 Hello, I know it's untypical for a DM to do this but....... I NEED AN ADVENTURE IDEA!!!!!!!!!! I have no idea, and my players want a game soon as possible. So any idea you could throw at me would be welcomed(maybe with a lead-in also). Just for info, they are now 11th lv ( fresh new paragon characters). Thx for your help.

Mar 06, 2009 10:59:57 There's a post on here about making players earn their paragon paths... Try that. It could be the inspiration you're looking for.

Or just google inspiration. Google is usually the solution...

Mar 06, 2009 11:15:49 Well, drow and trogs are good creatures for that level, all around 9-12 and some Kuo-toa are just a bit higher. The PCs could be kidnapped by drow slavers and dragged down into the underdark. The party could be made to fight for survival in the fighting pits and dangerous prisons of the drow city. Escaping from a drow stronghold would be a great challenge, as well as navigating the winding tunnels to get back to the surface. The climactic battle could involve pursuing slavers catching up to the PCs, just as they see the light at the end of the tunnel, or a fight with an adult purple dragon.

Mar 06, 2009 19:37:16 Rumors reach the party of a new threat, forming up in the far north. Very soon, names become attached to the threat. Several of them are people who should be dead. People, in fact, that the party KNOWS are dead. Or were.

Assuming, at some point, the PCs killed a BBEG or sub-boss who was a caster, somehow he/she/it has risen as a lich. In a bid of both power and revenge on the party, this lich then sought out the remains of several other BBEGs that the party has defeated, and has animated them as various forms of undead (Elite Template stuff) and is trying to raise an army of horrors to take over something.
