Initiate Power
[Multiclass Encounter]
Prerequisites: Any class-specific multiclass feat, 1st level.
Benefit: You can swap one at-will attack power you know for one at-will attack power of the same level or lower from the class you multiclassed into.

Ignoring the at-will swap you get for paragon multi-classing for a moment, how does this feat shape up? My biggest concern in 4.0 multiclassing is that it takes such a long time to feel like a multiclassed character - having an at-will from each of your classes would definitely fix that.

Broken? Okay? Let me know

Oh and a second question - would the half-elf racial dilletante make a good feat?

Dilleteante is considered underpowered by many people I believe.

On the other hand: I'd make swapping an at-will into the final feat.

tyhenhave the 11th level bonus of Paragon Multiclassing the full benefit of your Multiclass Feat Ability (Full hunter's... OK maybe too much...)

I kinda like dilettante as a feat personally. It is underpowered as a racial trait, but it might not be bad as a heroic feat. But if you do that, what are you going to do with the 1/2 elf? (you could be like me and just trash him).

Allow him two multiclasses? Give him the choice between Elven Accuracy and An extra At-Will (Hint: The extra at-will will only be taken by characters that intend to Multiclass)

There's a lot of room to work with.

Not true, Wyld. I'd take the extra at-will withiout multiclassing if half elves had it. It's part of the reason all my characters end up as humans in the end.

Sorry: I meant that there arev some classes where an extra at-will will only be taken for a multiclasser. Some classes have sub-par third choices.

:D No need to apologize. I just like hassling people when they use an absolute like only and always.

I only say things because I'm always right.

:D Hassle me now.
