If you role a critical, and then roll a 20 again with a d20, then the monster is dead. This only pretains to things that can be crit in the first place. So what do you guys think about a rule similar to this for 4th edition? A rogue comes in with a sneak attack or the ranger shoots an arrow, and BLAM natural 20. Then rolls a d20 again, BLAM natural 20 again. The monster has been hit is such a vital area that it crumbles to the ground. What do ya think? ~Will |

Having your high HP solo killed off in one hit sounds more like a boring, cheap kill than an exciting and fun finish to a battle. |
