| #1ReasonForTreasonJul 08, 2010 15:50:37 | (The Forum just killed my 2-page post, so I'll go at it again, but in shortend form. I'll add details tomorrow.) First a disclaimer: So, liebe Jungs (und Mädel)! Hi everyone and thanks for your patience! I'm the DM for a nice and friendly Eberron Party here in sunny Germany. After a long break we've managed to re-start our campaign last weekend and will hopefully conclude it in a couple of month. The party has almost reach level 7 and consits of a Changeling Ranger (posing as a House Phiarlan Elf), a Human Fighter (and 14th cousin to the regent of Cyre and Breland), a Dwarf Fighter (of House Kundarak), and a NPC Kalashtar Psion (who's the helpful buddy against the forces of Dal Quor (the main antagonists) and the guy to study the prophecy). We've lost two players over the 8 month break, so the Kalashtar is now an NPC because he's vital to the plot. We've been joined by a new player last week, who decided to play an Aerenal Elf Paladin. Campaign Background in brackets Show The players hail from dead Cyre and they're on an exodus from the remains of Cyre, one year after the mourning. Together with 400 refugees they're tried and reached civilisation because they've heard of Breland's "invitation" to the lost sons of Cyre. During the war, the heroes were all part of a campaign against the Emerald Claw during the war and since none of them have read Keith's original novels, they're experiencing this, seemingly forgotten, mission once again in dreams while figuring out the larger picture. They've just traved across the plains of Darguun and managed to get the sick, young and old to safety. While on the road they've discoverd the sword, ring and skull of Boranel's son Boramir (the dude that died in one of the flying fortresses during the war) and have used this heirloom to bargain their way to Breland. Meanwhile they've arrived in Breland, Wroat and handed over the regalia of Boramir to his father, the king. While leaving the palace, they encounter Morrigan ir'Harlock, former eeeeevil Cleric of the Emerald Claw and leader of the unit they've fought in their dreams. Through contacts and eeeevil witts, she managed to be named Karrnath's Ambassador in Wroat and is pretty surprised to meet the characters. |
