Voix is a known relative of Verbal component;
voit is when he sees;
"Il voit.".
Voie is a known relative of the Path, or better, Soul (like in soul music perhaps?)

but we, in France, translate Soul with Ame;
you englishmen trnaslate Ame with Love;
but we, in France translate Love with Amour, so now we have Soul=Love;

another way to translate soul is when you are drunk;
when you are drunk you become ill;
so then "ill voit".
WTF?
well, when you are ill you gain cleverness;

Vox Populis?
ehrr, that leads to Louis XII, people's father (a french King during french féodalité (not to get confused with féodalisme, which is for Warlords; first you must finish secession war.)

hint: Louis XII was killed in 1515. French singers well know of 1515...
