Try and make a 5 person well rounded party, stating just what's needed, mostly race class build, or some necessary feats for flavor, then a few sentences discussing heroic, paragon, and epic tier adventures, and important NPC's, and villains. - perfect would be a party that has controller, leader, defender, melee striker, ranged striker - this is in the 4e world, including gods, classes, and races, so feel free to push the limits without cramming ideas into holes arbitrarily or for optimization (i.e. Making Little John, known for his size, a Goliath, but don't just make Robin Hood an elf because that would optimize his archer rangerness) Robin Hood and his merry men
NPC's: Maid Marian, Human Rogue "agent on the inside of town" King Richard the Lion Hearted, human Paladin Villains: Sheriff of Notingham a human warlord, Guy of Gisborn a human Assasin Heroic Tier: Running off The sherrif's men, saving the poor and distressed, Paragon Tier: Journeying to find King Richard in the East, returning and overthrowing Prince John Heroes of the Round Table
and then choice of:
NPC's: Guinevere human no class, Lady of the Lake Eladrin wizard, Galahad Human Paladin Villains: Morgan le Fay, Half Elf Feylock, Mordred Human warden, Heroic Tier: Reign of Uther, the characters are Squires, leading adventures in between duties at the court, end with the death of Uther, the discovery of Arthur's destiny and the formation of the Round Table Paragon: Wars against the Romans, securing the loyalties of the knights not chosen by the PC's, skirmishes with Morgan Le Fay Epic: The rise of Mordred, Arthur and Lancelot are replaced with NPC's as the heroes must find the Holy Grail to save Arthur The Aesir
or:
Heroic: Fighting versus the Primordials Paragon: Clash with Vanir/Eladrin Epic: Return of the Primordials aka. Ragnarok |
