Hi All,

[Warning module spoiler alert...]

In Keep on the Shadowfell, there's an elf hunter (Ninaran) in Winterhaven's Wrafton Inn who serves as spy for Kalarel. After the second Kobold ambush, the party finally figured it out that she was trouble...of course, that letter didn't hurt either My party is furious at her.

So, I love the idea of the group spotting the hunter entering the Shadowfell Keep (and eventually fighting her).

My dilemma is that I'm unsure how to actually "build" her as an enemy. Hit points, AC, abilities, etc. Honestly, I'm rather intimidated here as I've never done this before (in any edition).

Does anyone have some suggestions on how they would build her in terms of actual stats, links to NPC builders, etc? I want the character to be fitting for a level 2 party of five but I don't want to spend all day buildiong an actual character. Assume that elf will have three or four goblins with her when the battle takes place.

Huge thanks in advance for your ideas and wisdom,

Thanks in advance for your feedback,

Ben

Her stats should be in the adventure, because there is an entire encounter with her along with some undeads.

Otherwise, the Elf Archer in the MM is a level 2 artillery, so that should be appropiate along with some goblins.

Hi Guys,

She's in the module already?!

I guess I haven't read that part yet. Can I have the page number on that?

Appreciate the other notes though as I'm sure I will need to make some monsters on my own at some point.

Thanks,

Ben

Hi Guys,

Well, look at that - there she is indeed. Sweet. I think I am going to have the party spot her a couple of times so I can increase their blood pressue a bit

I'll have a few near misses with the group as well - foot steps, note, sudden room exit (fire, warm plate of food, etc).

Leichenreiter Side Note: Sorry, I should have checked your sig line. God knows you posted enough helpful responses for me. Downloading it now.

Thanks,

Ben
