| #1wizardmonJul 07, 2008 14:55:59 | Hello all, Later this week, I plan on hosting (and running) a one shot 4e game. It will be a level one game, and it will be combat heavy (lots of newbies to D&D, particularly 4e, so we want to fight lots of things, and fast). The only problem is that I have little inspiration as to what the adventure should be. I thought about running a "adventurers stumble across a frontier town being invaded style game," but that seems railroading to me, and will not be good for the "short rest" aspect of 4e. Any ideas, anyone? |

In the middle of the meeting one of the nobles transforms into a demon (the real noble was murdered by the demon) and a load of goblins jump into the room, and demon then kidnaps a noble and runs off, a tracker or member of the party finds out that his tracks lead to the Ogre Pit, a cave filled with goblins, kobolds, orcs and of course, ogres. ![]() The demon wants to use the noble to summon a even bigger demon, somehow. Maybe the noble is a tielfling? What do ya think? |
