| #1beamsOct 06, 2009 11:09:00 | The adventure is described as being for characters of 1st to 3rd levels, but after just 3 encounters, my PCs are at lvl 2. I suspect they'll be closer to 6th lvl by the time they reach the last boss. I know I can make encounters more difficult, but I wonder why the campaign designers didn't take this into account? One of the last lines in the adventure is "Grab a copy of the Player's Handbook and level up to 4th level..." They really expected PCs to stay below 4th level while completing the campaign? |

How many characters are in the game? It seems pretty unlikely to me that the first 3 encounters would be worth 5000xp total?

Each level should consist of 8-10 encounters or so, not 3 lol. My 3 players are about 1/2 way to level with 3 encounters to go. Corridor of the Cube and the last two encounters in the adventure. By the end, counting Quest xp, they will hit 4th lvl, which is right on the mark, even though they have hit their levels at different points than the adventure suggests. |

So, to clarify, if an encounter rewards 600XP, and there are 3 PCs, each character recieves 200XP? |

Yes. Absolutely. |

Rookie mistake... |
