The following are a list of class concepts I have been brainstorming and may or may not flesh out. Feel free to borrow freely from these but please give credit where it is due. If you have a class concept, post it and I will add it to the list. Be sure to state its power source and if it is a subclass and describe it in a few sentences.

ARCANE

None yet.

DIVINE

Celestial Archer (Avenger Subclass): This striker is much like an avenger with distant vengeance. Summons a radiant bow/crossbow and can empower their arrows/bolts by spending a minor action. They act more like a turret than a mobile archer.

Dedicated (Cleric subclass): This class is all about rounding out a party and is geared toward being the 5th man in a 5-man party, or to balance out a single role-heavy party. Able to do melee or ranged.

MARTIAL

None yet.

PRIMAL

Colossus (Warden Subclass): This defender class focuses on increasing your size to large (to give you a bigger defender aura) and guardian form powers similar to the Warden.

Unleashed (Barbarian Subclass): This striker class is essentially a druid+barbarian with a touch of ranger. It is all about unleashing the primal beast inside yourself, giving you a twin strike using your claws and you can make a bite attack if you crit. You also gain the agility and speed of vicious predators.

Whisperer (Druid Subclass): This controller is kind of like a nature based sorcerer. They can shape the battlefield by changing the weather and the earth. They can also safeguard their allies from harsh conditions.

PSIONIC

Telekinetic (Psion subclass): This controller class focuses on capturing enemies in a telekinetic grasp and using forced movement. They'll be able to handle more targets as they increase in level.

Telepath (Psion subclass): This controller class focuses on dominating and creating illusion to turn enemies against themselves and each other. High control, low damage, like the Enchanter Wizard.

SHADOW

Assailant: This striker is a companion based class that summons their shadow to fight alongside them in battle (an identical copy of the PC minus item effects) and focuses on flanking (offensive) and staying adjacent to each other (defensive). Kind of like a Ranger split into two.

Butcher (Assassin Subclass): This striker class operates much like the Executioner, except it's focus is ongoing damage, making it more multitarget oriented than the Executioner.

Stalker (Assassin Subclass): This striker class takes its concept from the original Executioner article. Stalkers can fuse with their shadows and grab enemies by possessing their shadow. If the enemy is still grabbed at the start of your next turn, the enemy is treated as helpless to your attacks.

I think those are the existing psion builds.

I forgot to mention these builds are all essential style, so the telekinetic and telepath would work differently than their PHB3 counterparts.

For the telekinetic, I was thinking how in movies and tv telekinetic characters always seem to "grab" an enemy or object using their mind to form an imaginary hand around the thing. Maybe that would be a minor action to do. They could be able to telekinetically grab X number of enemies (able to grab more at higher levels) and then be manipulated by using more minor actions whether it be forced movement, being forced to attack their ally, being knocked prone, dazed, or what have you. If an enemy escapes that TK grab, then the Telekinetic has to make the grab again before they can do more control.

For the telepath, I hadn't thought too much about it, I thought it would be more single target control than the telekinetic, focusing on breaking the mind of a single creature. Maybe a Standard Action Dominate and minor action sustain but the target can make a saving throw to escape the domination (so it would be less effective on solos where domination is more powerful). Might even throw in some leader skills by jumping into an ally's mind and forcing them to move or attack.

So while they may share the same name, their mechanics differ greatly. But after all these are just concepts, and if someone wishes to make a Telepath and Telekinetic that resembles their PHB3 counterparts, they're more than welcome to.
