An earthmote with whats left of a ruined keep (pretty much just 2 walls and a tower) and a smal basement level under the tower. The big problem is how will the PCs get to the earthmote? At low levels it is unlikely that they (the PCs) will have access to items that will allow even short periods of flight. At higher levels, the fact that it's in the air isn't that special so it makes it a less interesting place to host/plan an adventure. What are some of the ways for low level characters (2-4) to get there (prefferably disposable so that if they decide to wander off the rails it isn't a game breaker)? |

Seriously, it depends how close to the ground it is, you could have great fun with them hurling a spear with a rope attached at it, leaping off a nearby cliff with a featherfall spell, trying a lasso from the top of a tree or any other numbers of inventive (but often silly) ideas they can come up with. Get your players to think about it, rather than handing them a whirley hole with 'Deus Ex Machina' pinned to it. |

The Temperature of the Air has changed, The sounds of have given way to something open and distant, and there is what appears to be a mist reaching out from you in all directions. A Distant rockfall draws your attention. Somewhere a Rock has fallen a great distance. |

The PC's are on a mountain path, and they reach an open area near the summit, a perfect camping site. Whule they are there, the mote passes by, coming within 5 or 10 feet of the cliff. Now all you need is a reason to get them to climb aboard. Of course, unless they like a good fall, they're trapped for as long as it takes to return to the cliff side. |

Idea officially stolen...:rubs hands and gigles: Time bound movement it is! |
