Milestone and magic items daily powers

Dec 13, 2008 23:55:52 My question is: u can use only 1 daily power from magic items per day even if u got more than 1 items that gives u daily power; but, when u reach a milestone, u can use 1 more daily power from items: dows it "consume" tha milestone.. or..?

Dec 14, 2008 0:39:32 When you reach a milestone, you can use another daily power from your magic items but it must be from one that you haven't use yet.

If so, u're going to gain lots of milestone and they got not way to be spent but when u got ressed

After you take an extended rest, all of your magic item daily powers are renewed, and you start fresh with regard to the number of magic item daily powers you can use per day.

I think that should answer your question now.

Dec 14, 2008 1:13:07 not completelly tbh cause neither PHB nor DMG talk about what happen to milestone: i mean.. about action point PHB and DMG says that after a long rest u restart with 1 action point: so, if u had 0 or >2.. u restore/loose your AP. About milestone nothing is told and if u do not loose milestone.. the day after earning 2 milestone.. u can use 3 daily power from items.
Is it correct?

You managed to get 3 milestones which if you didn't spend any action points or use of daily power from magic items would be at 4 (assuming if you have 4 daily powers from magic items). When you take an extended rest, your action points and use of daily power from magic items goes back to 1 (or 2-3 depending on what tier your at).

So basically, everything is reset when you take your extended rest. Milestones as well.
