Okay, so here's the basic concept. In an extension of the "Unaligned?" thread, I've begun one devoted to an idea that evolved from part of the discussion.

I'd like your help in creating a Dimensional Alignment/Personality System. Something that creates a unique, possibly even humorous, portrayal of your character using several (eHarmony-like?) dimensions of personality. The basic concept is to make a dimension, define it, and add a whole bunch of adjectives or what-not to choose from. First up? Colour. Yes, you heard me. All alignments in this new system can be coloured. Apart from the word-based dimensions...

[Note: I'm going to include the old 3.5 alignment metrics, just for the sake of example.)

If red is aggressive,
blue is contemplative,
green is pacifistic,
yellow is cowardly,
purple is arrogant
(feel free to add)

Then let's throw in a few general "modifiers" since we don't have any other suggested dimensions yet. We'll go with "inconsistent", "obsessive", "socipathic", "boring", and "naive".

I could be:
An inconsistently chaotic evil wizard. :D
That's a little off the wall, but I hope you see where I'm going with this. Make a category (colour?) define it, and then add it to the roster.

Good luck!

How about flamboyant? As in, a flamboyant sociopathic chaotic evil bard.

Or an obnoxious naive good rogue?

Okay, so we need a full categorizing of some colour metrics.
We'll keep the "good, neutral, evil, chaotic, lawful" in there for now, since we don't have a replacement. We have some adverb modifiers, but we'll need some more of those as well. Now we need some additional "dimensions". Come on people, get creative!

Do you mean --- a naively, boring lawful good paladin?

It sounds like you're taking the 9-Align System from 3.5, and then adding a third dimension to it, making it an Alignment Cube. :D
