| #1dracowayfarerNov 07, 2009 17:49:35 | Poking around in the Adventure Tools, and I notice this... oddness. A green dragon wyrmling is a level 4 elite monster. A young adult dragon, which is a large creature and supposedly many years (if not decades!) older than a wyrmling, is a level 5 solo monster. And then... the green dragon wyrmling companion is a level 7 standard monster! And has one less power than the level 4 elite version! Can someone please explain this to me? |

A young adult dragon is a lot more powerful than a green dragon wyrmling. More importantly though WotC is not tieing itself to exact aging rules. If a wyrmling works for the adventure they have planned they will use a wyrmling of appropriate level even if that is a tough wyrmling compared to what they have made in the past. If you want increase or decrease the size of the creature and rename it. Size is not important to stats in general in 4E. |
