It's comparable to the Drow, but where the Drow gets two racial powers (and yes, getting to pick between two does count as a racial feature), your race gets Shadow Resistance instead. Honestly, my major concern would actually probably be your racial power. It's very questionable whether or not it's balanced, it's very awkwardly worded, and it leaves a lot of questions. For example, actions don't have origin points, so while I know what your intent is, it definitely hasn't been properly worded. Count as a single target for targetting purposes? For what other possible purposes could they count as different targets? Just say that they count as a single target. So, what goes on with equipment? Do you get to threaten all squares adjacent to both of yourselves while it isn't your turn? What happens if one get affected by a condition and the other doesn't? Can that even happen? What happens with forced movement? Is there any limit to how far away your double can be from you? Can you target your double with effects that affect allies? Would that effectively mean that you can target yourself with that effect, or would it not last after the double went away? In general, I honestly just think that the idea is too complicated to work as you currently have it presented, and it leaves too many questions. Why not work it like a summoning power? That might work well for what you want. Then again, Summons are usually daily powers exactly because of how powerful they are, and what you want seems overpowered in that case... |
