The slightly aged woman looks across the field, waving her hands the earth ripples throughout the field of large yellow flowers that glisten in the light of the Temple of Radiance, creating sea of yellow waves.

Smiling she sets her hoe into the ground and begins walking back to her cottage, but as she turns she runs into a group of people... One being a man clad in silvery armor with golden eyes and silvery skin.

She clears her throat loudly.

"Excuse me, Sir? What exactly are you and your companions doing upon the isle of Thalasia?"

The locket of a golden sun glistens on her chest.

Holding his hand up to his companions the holy procession halts. Walking forward flanked by two priests he bows slightly to the woman in a show of peace and respect.

"We travel this land looking for a place of sanctuary, we recently have fled from a Necropolis in a city named Tyrannor. Though we attempted to fight for good we lost Grand Crusader Ir'shien to the dark and an entire city of souls now wallow in the taint of undeath. Could more things have been done? Perhaps, but the populace seemed to welcome the new king.Ah, milady, I ramble, forgive me. I am Delkine Pronadis Solaris the Seventh. A humble servant to Pelor. Who might you be if I may ask?"

She drops her guard a slight bit and looks forward slightly dazed.

"The Grand Crusader ir'Shien? Caronath? Fallen...? Oh... dear... I need to... I need... I..."

The lady drops to her knees in the grass and falls forward crying.

"My sons... My husband..."

She continues to wheep grasping the ground in her hands and tearing it up in her fists.

"Now Rayne, just Rayne... and I... Kind traveller... Tell me. Where is my Husband's body? He should have been here by now if he is truly beyond the realm of the living, he should have returned back to Pelor's Temple of Radiance... I have been waiting... so long..."

A look of horror passes over Solaris' face as he realizes what he has done. Shucking his helmet and going to his knees beside the woman in front of him. Reaching out cautiously he tries to comfort the Lady Ir'shien.

"Milady, forgive me, I knew not when I spoke. The king of the land did not release the body of your husband... and I must speak true to you... he is a powerful... Necromancer... I fear, no it is to horrible to say aloud. We will talk of this when you have time to grieve. However I can assure you, when last I saw Rayne she was healthy... full of life."

As Solaris watches the woman grieve a heaviness is laid onto his shoulders. Looking to her he speaks softly.

"Milady. Please forgive me of my transgression. I knew not who you were.... I will do anything to make things right to the wife of the Grand Crusader Caronath."

She wipes her eyes and leans back her sobs of grief beginning to subside, whether by force or true grasping of the situation, was not evident. Looking to the ground and then past Solaris's face and to the towering golden spire that gave off such life sustaining light, her tears finally dried. With this her attention drew back to Solaris.

"Dawn, my name is Dawn. Yes, I was Caronath's wife and the Mother of Ray and Rayne."

She stands slowly not bothering to brush the clean soil from her hands.

"Sir so far you have mentioned the dead coming back to life, a necromancer king, and the sorrows of a whole city... Something you won't find within Elysium... For here there is only life and light..."

She casts her arm out towards the field of glistening sunflowers and the Temple of Radiance behind them in the distance across a magnificent ocean where a group of incredibly long eel-like creatures like the tales of leviathans of old cascade across the ocean's waters like great living waves.

"But I do warn you, and your companions. Many who come here cannot leave, for Elysium, which is life and light, is hard to give up and most who come here do not wish to part from its glory. But with that said... my cottage is over this way. I have food and water a plenty and can make room for your friends if need be."

She begins to walk away towards the cottage but continues to speak softly.

"Solaris, take a Sunflower or two... believe me, they were my Son's favorite flower and offer more protection than you might think when used correctly..."

As Solaris follows the Lady Ir'shein he does as she asks and picks several flowers. Stowing them he catches up to her and follows her to the cottage.

"We thank you for your generosity in this time of grief. We have had but trail rations since we came to elysium. "

(Might be wrong, but I bet even trail rations would tastte better in elysium. Although "tastes better" dos not equal "tastes good.":D )

She continues to speak as they approach the cottage, on the edge of the forest of sunflowers, near the coast of Thalasia, there sitting at the outside of the cottage is a beautiful gold and bronze dog who's ears perk up at the sound of Dawn approaching.

She whistles loudly. Flash! Come here and meet our guests!"

The dogs seems to get up but in all reality is phased out of existance for a split second before its paws, followed by the rest of its body, reformed beside her walking at the same pace.

"Flash, this is Solaris, a friend of Caronath's. They seek refuge and care here, so let us make sure they get it alright?"

The dogs barks and begins teleporting around the group of people smelling each of them like he is searching for something. Everytime he breathes a soft cloud of cooling frost forms from his mouth.

"Don't mind him, trained to seek out darkness and eliminate it. He's quite good at it, believe me if any of your follows do not truly worship goodness... he'll know"

Solaris watches as the little dog makes it rounds and smiles. Looking up to Dawn he speaks.

"I assure you milday. This flock does not stray. We are for the good and the light in all things. Our only short coming is that we lost the city of Tyrannor.... which is no small loss I admit. But once I return to that plane by the light of Pelor I will assure you the heathens will know the mercy that is Pelor as their evil souls burn in his radiance. The sun has surely set on Tyrannor for now and the night is most assuredly dark as the Abyss. However as they say it is always darkest before the Dawn. A dawn I may yet bring with an Ir'shein beside me."

She stops and with a smile turns to the Cleric.

"Such poetry comes easily from a priest who knows their scriptures. But yes... We may leave whenever you wish, for I trust these fields to Pelor's Light and your kin and believe they shall be more than safe."

After several weeks in Elysium Solaris approaches the lady Ir'shien. His gear freshly polished, his pack full of sunflower petals, his faith absolute.

"Mi'lady as much as I enjoy this blessed plane I believe it due time to return to Tyrannor. I am ready when you are, just take my hand and by the grace of the lord Pelor we shall go."

Dawn nods and grasps Solaris's hand, Flash placing a paw on her thigh as all three of them begin to transition from Elysium to the cold hard reality that is the city of Tyrannor Proper.
