It was in the past ruled over by Prince William, the stormhand. That was in the early days before the war, until conflict came. Betrayed by his advisor, Stormhand was slain attempting to assassinate Arcanus Moonlight, Lord of Ghashmal Keep. After his death a new ruler was appointed, but his time was short. Leving on a journey of discovery, he too was replaced... by the current Queen of Bristol. Ashariana the Dreadful. Now in command of all Bristol, the Queen is respected by her people for her beauty, each noble looking upon her with admiration and adoration. Within the throne of Bristol's Tower, once home to the Stormhand Federation, Ashariana, Queen of Bristol rests. By her sides young men feed her grapes and other exotic fruits, while young women tend to her nails, a few simply lying beside her upon large plush pillows. She rests draped in black silks, her long silvery hair running down along her body. Her dress is cut low, revealing much while still covering her generous curves. Nobles stand within the room before her, men staring, women jelous of the attention given to her. |

A wave of his hand and the whispering words of a spell... and he removes his helmet. Beneath is revealed the living flesh and blood form of the Stormhand. He rides through the streets, keeping his eyes ahead on the tower but allowing himself to be seen. When he brings the death's steed to a halt, he dismounts before the tower. Pushing the doors open, William swings wide the doors, his black armor polished and his tattered cape trailing behind him. Stormhand enters, striding forward through the nobles and those gathered, approaching the woman that was queen... the Sister of Sargatanas, Lord of the damned... the beautiful Ashariana. The woman he had cared for in life... by magic in truth... but he felt it the same. |
| #3orcy_the_green_wonderAug 18, 2008 19:27:50 | Ashariana gasps, staring ahead at William when he enters. She leans forward, the loose fabric giving those before her a more healthy view of her body as she often does when speaking with dignitaries. She smiles warmly at the man who appraoches. "My prince... the.. rumors are true. You live once more! I am filled with pleasure to know that you are well and returned to us my prince... I am sure you have much to tell and many stories oh great stormhand." |
| #4sargatanasAug 18, 2008 19:59:44 | William strides forward, stopping before the throne. A smirk spreads across his face as he looks upon Ashariana's body for a moment. "Put those away, as I recall they are dangerous weapons." The Prince looks over the women and men serving Ashariana, raising an eyebrow and smirking. "You seem to have been doing well for yourself... women and men, that is a new change but you always did have your urges didn't you... 'queen' Ashariana. I am here on behalf of your brother, the King of Tyrannor, Sargatanas. He seeks to make an alliance between this land and the Kingdom of Tyrannor. Think my dear Ashariana... what that would mean for you. You would be beside your brother again, you would have power within the Kingdom of Tyrannor. What say you... dear queen?" Diplomacy (1d20+20=33) |
| #5orcy_the_green_wonderAug 18, 2008 21:01:39 | Ashariana leans back in the throne, clapping her hands and having a glass of wine brought to her. Another is brought before Stormhand himself, delivered by a young woman clad like all Ashariana's servants, in thin silks. She turns back to stand beside Ashariana. Raising her class, The Queen of Bristol smiles warmly at William. "Here is to our alliance... assuming that I will be left to rule here. Surely if you have returned only now... then you serve my brother. I would however like you to stay here with me, and your people. We would love to have our Lord William back with us." |
| #6sargatanasAug 19, 2008 11:40:39 | "Rest assured then... for I will be staying here. My people will need my guidance and assistance in collaborating with the King of Tyrannor, the Lord of the Damned, Sargatanas. You will of course rule your lands, I will not make claim to the throne at this time. I have far too much to do in the service of my Lord Sargatanas. He has given me life once more and I must repay his kindness." William places his helm back over his head, moving up to stand upon the raised section that holds the throne. He stays a good distance from the group, but those nearby can smell a strong scent of lavender from the prince. |
| #7orcy_the_green_wonderSep 19, 2008 0:05:24 | It is not very long after the King's disappearence that a loud, pained roar errupts from within the Tower of the Stormhand. Shattering sounds come from the prince's chambers alongside barely-human screams, occasional words worked within them as well. "BASTARD! What is this MOCKERY!" Shattering glass as a mirror is hurled across the room, the doors cracking as William steps into the hallway. "BRING ME MY COUNSELORS! GATHER MY ARMIES! I am no man's pawn... I am nothing play-toy... this... will not go... un-punished!" |
| #8gulienSep 20, 2008 0:56:29 | A single creature wrapped in the cloths of Tyrannor approaches the tower in the city of Bristol. Walking to the court (if allowed ofcourse) he speaks to those who would hear. "A message...for...the Stormhand.... only.... the Stormhand." |
| #9orcy_the_green_wonderSep 20, 2008 14:10:45 | William strides down from the throne, Ashariana sitting nearby in a similar throne. She watches as William approaches the creature from Tyrannor. His rotting flesh curving up into an angry grimace. "What is your message?" |
| #10gulienSep 20, 2008 21:17:43 | The undead looks to William and speaks in its slow gait. "Stormhand...The king...of Tyrannor.... seeks allegiance... Gorad... No-life King.... seeks unity.... what say you.... Stormhand?" |
| #11orcy_the_green_wonderSep 21, 2008 21:07:59 | "I will be no servant to Gorad. It was not by MY chosing that I served his pathetic master and the mad-man's dreams. I'll not serve his blind disciple now! Bristol is MINE once again... If your lifeless master wishes to contest that claim... then by all means he is invited to try. Be gone from my lands and never return corpse unless you grow tired of living as a mockery." William waves his hand directing the undead towards the door, thunder and small bolts crackling around the undead prince's arm. |
| #12gulienSep 21, 2008 21:11:50 | The walking corpse nods and leaves Bristol. Running but never tiring on its way back to Tyrannor with its message. |
