#1 orcy_the_green_wonder Aug 26, 2008 16:13:01	The Shadow's Breath resides in the same haven that once housed the Shadow's Breath and Blade. A small, hidden building residing in the middle of the swamps. Within, a tavern is the first thing seen, a simple place that is dark and silent. Inside sit many cloaked individuals, most clad in dark colors and a number of them masked. The building itself seems ragged and somewhat run-down and a scruffy looking man stands behind the counter cleaning a glass. Leja cannot see most of this, as they landed in the zepplin and disembarked she had been blindfolded. The man lead her through the foul smelling swamp, filthy water and mud sticking to her lower half as she is lead and more than once getting a boot stuck in the mud. Finally she can head a door opening and soon after, the blindfold she wears is removed, revealing the room and it's occupants to her. To the side, is the man she left the zepplin with, seeming no worse for the wear except for a bit of mud on his boots. Strange considering most beneath her waist is caked in mud and soaked with swamp water.
#2 thefriendlysmile_dup Sep 01, 2008 0:26:14	As Leja attempts to clean some of the mud off of her, she makes a quick survey of the tavern and its patrons. She looks up to the man who led her there and sarcastically quips. "Do you think I should bathe first....kind sir?"
#3 orcy_the_green_wonder Sep 01, 2008 17:09:53	"We'll help ya wash up if ya like there deary..." The man that brought her here grins broadly, looking Leja over. He reaches a hand out toward her when another grasps his wrist. Turning his eyes over he finds a masked woman holding his wrist, her eyes beneath the slits not much wider as she narrows them, staring at the man. "You're a pig as ever Robert. Leave the woman's charms for a mark to get killed lusting after would ya? Just take 'er ta the Mistress if'n thats what she's 'ere for." The woman releases Robert's hand and stands to the side, arms crossed over her chest. Nothing but her ice blue eyes visible beneath the mask. Another woman appears from nowhere in the back wall, as if stepping from the wall itself. She is clad in thin black silks, her entire body covered save for a portion of her pale skin showing enough cleevage to grab the attention of many of the room's occupants. She glances around and swiftly makes her way to the door.

#5 orcy_the_green_wonder Sep 06, 2008 10:05:16	'Robert' grumbles and turns away from the masked woman, throwing an arm into the air with a rude gesture toward her he makes for the back wall. He waits for Leja to follow and once she has come close enough. Then with an intricate couple of pushes and twists of a well-hidden knob on the wall, a door slides open. It is barely visible based upon the mundane illusion designed around it.
#6 thefriendlysmile_dup Sep 13, 2008 16:02:05	Leja follows Robert through the hidden doorway. Her expectations well met by the nature of the illusion put off to keep this place hidden. Taking note of her surroundings as she walks in a habit due to her risky occupation.
#7 orcy_the_green_wonder Sep 13, 2008 16:15:31	Robert leads her through a dark room, a single torch lighting a doorway at the far end of it. He raises a hand and makes a few quick hand signals. Even with her own natural vision she cannot see into the darkness surrounding her. Coming upon the torch, Robert knocks a few times and waits. Shortly after, the door swings open, a man clad in heavy black leathers and a thick black cloak meeting him there. He waves the two of them in silently. Beyond, the sound of a voice can just be made out, apparently female, can be heard finishing her words in a commanding voice. As the two enter and are brought through a number of curtains, each holding an armed man behind it, they find themselves in a circular chamber, the outsides likewise concealed by blackness. In a chair of pelts and hides a woman sits, her sharp eyes turning toward Robert and Lija as the two approach. Another man, clad in all white save for black and red bracers, and a black mask over his lower face with carved, sharp red teeth lining its upper and lower half. He glances toward the two as they enter, bowing to the woman on the throne and vanishing.

"M'lady, it is a pleasure to be here. I am Leja Maracova, former apprentice to Sithis. I am here to announce my intent to begin operations in this area. That is, if I may have a word with you."
#9 orcy_the_green_wonder Sep 15, 2008 13:35:05	The woman looks down from her throne, a thin mask covering her face around the eyes only. Indeed, it seemed as though there were no eyes, save for those painted onto the mask's front. She turns them toward Leja and looks the woman over slowly. She tilts her head to the side, waving a hand in an amused gesture. "You may speak."
#10 thefriendlysmile_dup Sep 17, 2008 23:48:28	"I wish to start working for hire in the city. I also intend to make myself useful to you and the rest of Shadow's Breath, if you allow it. I would like permission and a contract to prove myself worthy to work under your command." Leja nods her head in completion letting the woman know she was finished speaking and ready to listen. She takes a deep breath and readies herself for the answer.
#11 orcy_the_green_wonder Sep 18, 2008 18:00:10	The woman tilts her head to the side, watching and listening to Leja. Her lips curl up into a thin smirk. "I would hope that your intent is to work through our organization if you might start working in the city. Perhaps we will give you a contract... after all, a test must be undergone. You know of our policies and our beliefs I assume... or I doubt you would be here."
#12 thefriendlysmile_dup Sep 21, 2008 0:32:35	Leja releases a sigh of relief knowing that she can exceed in almost any test asked of her thanks to her master Sithis. "I wouldn't mind working through Shadows Breath as a contract assassin. I am willing to undergo any test you feel will show that I am capable of a contract as long as i get to spill some blood. When can i start?"

Many have come to us to help and aid them, to free them of their troubles in these dark times. We are, of course... happy to help... for a fee. Never do something for free, we would not be skilled if we gave our services away. Imagine a world where people did things out of the kindness of their hearts... it would be most poor. Here is the way this works. I will give you a slip, you will not read it, you will not speak the name upon it. When you are gone from this place, then you will examine your orders. We will give you all the information you need, you are not to ask any questions of our people. If you need information, that is for you to discover through whatever channels you might find appropriate except for us, at least in this mission. Your test will be complete when either you or your target lies dead. If you fail, do not return here. If you are caught, you have never been here. If you betray us, then you will be hunted until you are no more. Should another get hold of the information on the slip you are given, then he or she may try to complete the task before you, and earn the pay for it should they indeed take care of the target. Do you understand?"

#15 orcy_the_green_wonder Sep 26, 2008 0:22:41	The woman slips a piece of paper from somewhere nearby, the slip seeming almost to appear in her hand. She flicks her wrist and the slip is sent flying into Leja's outstretched hand. The woman leans back in her chair and tilts her head to one side. "Good luck."

Leja turns and walks out of the room through the tavern and out into the swamps. She begins to travel in the direction where she suspects the city is. Once she reaches Glenndria she seeks out a cartographer.

#18 orcy_the_green_wonder Oct 05, 2008 1:09:52	Artimas travels for a long while through the swamps, but either the entrance is well hidden or he has not reached it's location after a days search. He has however had the unsettling feeling throughout his time in the swamp that he is being watched.
#19 redhase Oct 05, 2008 1:21:25	Artimas stops and then will wait, he says this loud enough for them to hear."I know your out there some where, I've come to hire one or more of you. I will wait then for one of you " artimas says. "Now who is going to come forward and talk to me!"
#20 orcy_the_green_wonder Oct 07, 2008 2:21:39	A man steps out of the swamp behind Artimas. A blade in one of the man's hands he speaks quietly over the other's shoulder. "Speak quickly, if I like the sound of what you have to say, I'll give you an audience."
#21 redhase Oct 07, 2008 2:43:38	"It is simple my good fellow, I came here to hire one of your group for a specfic job. If you are interested then let me know. I did hear The shadow's Breath can do anything for the right price" Artimas says to him.
#22 orcy_the_green_wonder Oct 14, 2008 0:46:35	((Orcy appoligizes for not posting sooner, he has been a bit busy lately and has apparently been a little more forgetful.)) "Alright then... ye can come with me an be quick about it. Don't need ta be gettin caught out in this blasted swamp in bad weather and what have ya." The man slips around Artimas and starts heading deeper into the swamp, making his way along the partially dry portions of the swamp.

#24 orcy_the_green_wonder Oct 18, 2008 14:28:54	The man and Artimas move through the swamps slowly, coming slowly across the drenched landscape. After a short distance the man blindfolds Artimas if he allows him to do so. When the blindfold is removed, Artimas stands in a tavern. If artimas refuses to be blindfolded the man will leave him in the swamp.

#26 orcy_the_green_wonder Oct 26, 2008 2:45:15	When they arrive, Artimas is within the tavern room. There are many around the room clad in dark leathers or other such clothing. As well, there is a man in one corner clad in white with a black mask over his lower jaw. A few of those within look at Artimas when he enters the room with his lion. The bartender as well gives his attention to Artimas, cleaning a mug with a rag.

She stands nearby and seats herself at the table, a mask over her face. She folds her hands before her and looks the man over through thin slits in the mask. "Speak your mind."

" I seek one of yours who can blend in a socity, who would be good at the use of posions to.. lets say bring them back alive with me to my lord, he has many questions to ask them. This one has to be lets say in the knowledge circle of these people."

#33 redhase Nov 06, 2008 23:59:30	"Lets see if I can clearify it a little better then, One of your people who can blend in with the people of the low land hills, the target would be one of theirs with knowledge of their leadership. this leader must of course not be killed, but keeped alive. If you allready have some of yours there in the low land hills, then your kidnapper will have an advantage then." Artimas says to her.

But if the need is great, I am sure we can work something out in regards to learning a bit about them. Now, depending on how high ranking you wish for this particular person to be... the price will be higher."
#35 thefriendlysmile_dup Jan 01, 2009 1:17:11	Leja walks through the swamp on her way back from the assassination of the perverted elf lord. A gift falls as she tries to make her way through the swamp back to the base of the Shadow's Breath. Picking it up she opens it in short order.
#36 thefriendlysmile_dup Jan 23, 2009 11:01:50	Leja turns the gift over in her hand, examining it. "I wonder what this can do? It might come in handy some day." After her thorough inspection of the unexpected gift, she softly thanks the one who dropped it and begans to once again move towards the tavern.
#37 orcy_the_green_wonder Jan 23, 2009 22:57:09	Leja manages to find her way back to the tavern that she had been brought to before. The place has a similar feeling as the last time she was there, a smoky haze hanging around the room from various cigars and pipes.

You see, if you want one of their mightiest or their leader it is going to cost you proportionally more based on his skills and strength compare to the basic grunt. You've said 'someone' but you haven't said any more. I don't have the time for games, speak clearly and tell me what exactly it is you want us to do."
#40 redhase Jan 30, 2009 18:51:17	" What I would like from your people or person is this. Study one the the white ravens captains, their movemnts, all they do. Once your person feels safe to knock them out. What ever method your person uses is up to them, gas, pioson knock out drops, spell, then the task is finished. I'll take the captain uncounses body with me else where. " He tells her.
