| #1lorikaNov 18, 2009 7:20:38 | SPOILERS SPOILERS In "Encounter 3: Competitors" of ADCP 1-1 Jungle Hunt there appears to be a typo. In the tactics section it says "The leader is also designed to get in and mix things up in melee. His healing ability requires a melee touch, so it's best to keep him close to the fray." However, in the stat block the Dwarf Battle Chaplain has no healing abilities or anything that requires melee touch. Does that mean that there is a typo in the tactics text (he really doesn't have any healing abilities after all) or was something left off of the stats block? I'm guessing that something happened during editing, like the reviewers decided a healing ability was too powerful and took the power out of the stat block and forgot to change the mention of it in the tactics section. I wanted to check since a healing ability might have a fairly significant impact on how the encounter plays out. If anyone knows what it should be, please let me know! Thanks! |

This is exactly what happened. Originally, the leader NPC had a healing ability, and we removed it after playtesting. Clearly, I failed to remove the corresponding reference in the tactics section. The stat blocks are correct; the tactics section is incorrect. Sorry about that! |
