| #1neraxJan 05, 2010 19:33:10 | What I am looking to do is put a series of adventures together to run for a new local group. Specifically in need of an adventure database which lists the adventure name, levels, blurb and (if possible) is part of a quest series. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks |
| #2neraxJan 05, 2010 20:29:34 | Ah ha! I knew if I kept looking I would come up with something: www.lfr-oxford.oxif.org/scenarios.html www.lfr-oxford.oxif.org/blurbs If anyone else knows of another site, please let us all know! ![]() |

In addition, you may want to consider joining the LFR yahoo group and going into their database-there is a listing of mods as well as a spoiler database with listings of the treasure bundles. The weblink is games.groups.yahoo.com/group/LivingFR/ |

One idea would be to have a separate field for "DM Tips". This would separate critical review from practical recommendations on providing a good experience for players. Good luck with the site. Really nice! Folks, help this man out with some reviews! |

OK, lesse... it's pretty darned slick. I'd love to be able to see star ratings alongside the module lists. Also, listing all the 5 star, 4 star, etc. modules. Maybe also flag modules with reviews? I guess if it has a star rating, it has a review. It would be pretty cool if the story awards were expandable. I'm sometimes going to want to see them, sometimes not, and it's a pain going back to my profile to change my preference each time. Same goes for the reviews. Item awards, yeah. Experience point values might also be nice. It'd be cool if there was a field for "related modules" as a way to track quest plotlines, maybe? Somewhere in the far future roadmap, maybe an NPC list so you can say "show me all the Crafty Kobold modules." It's a really nice site. Thank you for allowing OpenID logins. It makes me wish I was an ASP programmer instead of a guy who hacks around with PHP, so I could offer help. |

| #11OreJan 07, 2010 14:53:11 | Oh very nice! Thanks for the links. ![]() |
| #12AlphastreamJan 07, 2010 15:22:30 | Some of the discussion reminded me of the old Nyrond web site, where you could say which PC played it... if players could track for their PC what they played and print out a list of story awards they have, that could have value - assuming format is better than that coming out of the CB (not hard to imagine). You could have some draw if you had categories like PC from class x that has played most mods, etc. The Nyrond site was famous for that and players took pains to record info for the chance at bragging rights. (I was the highest level strait-class ranger... oh, sorry, I'm bragging ). |
| #13ThanlisJan 07, 2010 15:30:17 | re:NPCs tracker - I like that, but perhaps as a "tagging" idea, so you could tag modules with phrases. Oooh, yeah. Tagging would be exactly the right way to handle that. You could cover questlines that way as well (although you wouldn't get the sequencing). |

I played with trayburn a bunch at neoncon recently and it was a good fun! Hope the site works out and look to nyrond.org for ideas. Alot of stuff on the rec list but I would recommend enhanced "character monitoring" features. Kind of like an online advancement tracker sheet that other people could view. So you could create a character profile (or 3 or 4) with your login and then have other players view all your character profiles. Would be kind of fun as like a facebook for PCs. |
